Dominic Artis posterizes the Oregon Chef in promotional video for student section

(USA Today Sports Images)

Apparently posterizing someone isn't just limited to the court these days. It used to be a massive majority of the population was unable to take part in posterizing because of that whole inability to dunk thing. And for some it was this.

But nowadays all you need is a buddy to hold up anything remotely similar to a basket above someone's head and you can feel like LeBron James for a moment. You know some third grade kid somewhere is going to get suspended from school for this any day now, right?

Anyway.

Oregon's Dominic Artis posterized the Oregon Chef, a super fan who attends Ducks games dressed as if he'll be baking pastries for everyone at halftime, with a little help from teammate Damyean Dotson. The chef is that guy standing behind Phil Knight and Oregon football coach Mark Helfrich in the photo above, just in case you didn't piece that together.

It happened at a recent meeting of leaders of the The Pit Crew, the Oregon student section. The whole thing was done as a promotion for The Pit Crew ahead of the basketball season. Check it out in the video below.
