Packers tight end Jermichael Finley suffers scary neck injury but has movement in extremities

Packers tight end Jermichael Finley took a big hit in the fourth quarter of Green Bay's game against the Browns, and left the field on a stretcher.

Finley was hit hard in the helmet by Browns safety Tashaun Gipson and stayed down on the field. Gipson was penalized for unnecessary roughness.

Finley never got up and Packers trainers came to attend to him. There was a shot on CBS' broadcast of Gipson holding his head in his hands as Finley was put on the stretcher. Finley did move his right arm as he was being wheeled off and initial reports were positive.

The Packers' main concern is for Finley's health. But football-wise, it could be an important injury. Receiver James Jones was inactive for Sunday's game. Receiver Randall Cobb is out up to two months with a broken fibula. The Packers were thin at receiver, and it'll get harder if Finley's injury keeps him out for a while.
