Watch Dolphins receiver Brandon Gibson go airborne during touchdown reception

Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Gibson finally made a splash play this season.

Gibson signed with the Dolphins prior to season after spending four years with the St. Louis Rams. He was supposed to complement Mike Wallace, but entered Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills without a touchdowns.

However, Gibson finally made an impact before halftime on Sunday.

Miami had possession on Buffalo’s 13-yard line with 34 seconds remaining. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw a short pass to Gibson, who was determined to score. Gibson attempted to leap over a Bills defender and was tossed into the air. He was hit a second time in the air and landed on his feet before falling in the end zone. That touchdown promoted an immediate celebration by Gibson, and a memorable score for the Dolphins.
