Iowa follows through on bet, tweets pic of Wisconsin hoisting Heartland Trophy (Photo)

Earlier this week, Iowa made a little bet with Wisconsin that the school who lost this year’s Heartland Trophy – the award given to the winner of the Iowa-Wisconsin matchup – would have to tweet a photo of the opposing team hoisting the trophy.

Bad move, Iowa.

The Hawkeyes fell 28-9 and sure enough, after the game ended, the University of Iowa Twitter feed posted a photo of the Badgers celebrating with the bronze bull.

It was the second time Wisconsin had clowned Iowa regarding the trophy. When the university originally sent out the challenge, Wisconsin replied with a picture of the trophy it had won a year ago.

The Badgers have now won two straight in this series for the first time since 2006 and 2007.
