Saturday Fashion Police: Camouflage and more

(USA Today Sports Images)

One of our least enticing weekends on the field brought us a lot of different uniform combinations. Without further ado, let's get with it.

THE GOOD:

Texas A&M: It was Military Appreciation Day at Kyle Field, and much like North Carolina's stars and stripes logo earlier this season, we approve of A&M's patriotic execution.

Kansas State: That's a nice subtle camo that the Wildcats pulled off. And subtle camouflage is the best camouflage.

Purdue: The gold horizontal stripes on the helmet are supposed to signify train tracks, and the helmets are pretty cool. Purdue's performance in the 56-0 loss to Ohio State is not.

THE NEUTRAL:

Army: There was nothing subtle about this camo. But we can't quibble about the service academy that wears camouflage for its military duties wearing it on the football field.

THE BAD:

Oregon State: We were intrigued to see these in person. And man, that was just a lot of orange. Too much of it.

THE UGLY:

Washington State: Please stop with the gray. That goes for everyone, not just Washington State.
