Wisconsin trolls Iowa’s Twitter bet proposal on Saturday’s game

The Iowa athletic department had a fun request for Wisconsin.

The two teams are playing Saturday for the Heartland Trophy, which is a big brass bull. The trophy was created in 2004 after the teams had played

That's a cool social media idea, right? Wisconsin was receptive. But not like how Iowa probably envisioned.

We like the initiative from Iowa, and really like the response by Wisconsin, who is a 9.5 point favorite. However, with a response like that, you really have to back it up. If Iowa beats Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Twitter account should have a Hawkeye avatar or something.

Plus, the Badgers can't claim any dominance over the Hawkeyes. Iowa had two straight wins before Wisconsin won last year, and the series is tied 42-42-2.
