Sound FX: Tom Brady on Red Sox players, ‘They’re so little’

It's funny to get a glimpse at what NFL players and coaches sometimes talk about in the moments before a big game.

Like when the World Champion Red Sox stopped by the Patriots-Steelers game to be honored.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and quarterback Tom Brady couldn't get over how small the Red Sox players were, compared to the guys on the football field.

"(Red Sox second baseman Dustin) Pedroia is like 150 pounds," Belichick exclaimed to Josh McDaniels on NFL Films' "Sound FX" this week.

Then McDaniels remarked on the difference between outfielder Shane Victorino and wide receiver Danny Amendola.

"Victorino is like 20 pounds less than Amendola," McDaniels said incredulously.

Brady wasn't in on that conversation, but right before kickoff he found Belichick on the sideline to point out the same thing.

"They must be going, 'Geez, these guys are huge!'" Brady said to Belichick. "They're so little."

NFL games are serious business for the players and coaches, but even some of the best can have a few light moments.
