The Alabama-Auburn rivalry is one of the fiercest rivalries in college football and if you ever needed evidence that fans of both teams take this rivalry seriously, then look no further.
According to AL.com, a Jefferson County, Ala. man found that his car had been burglarized. To make matters worse for this man -- a huge Alabama fan – an Auburn Christmas ornament was left on the front passenger seat.
The victim told police that he believed the Auburn ornament was left as a message since he is an “avid” Alabama fan and would not have anything Auburn-related near his vehicle.
Electronics and “other items” were stolen from the car, police said, and the ornament was taken as evidence.
Luckily for the victim, the 2013 Iron Bowl is only 25 days away, so he won't have to wait too long for a bit of retribution, as the top-ranked Crimson Tide are sure to be heavy favorites.
