Watch Robert Griffin III’s pass pinball and result in an interception

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has thrown plenty of interceptions before.

It is hard to imagine many of them bounced around like his interception on Sunday.

Griffin attempted a pass to receiver Leonard Hankerson from Washington’s end zone in the first quarter. His pass was deflected by San Diego defensive lineman Lawrence Guy and hit the back arm of Chargers defensive lineman Sean Lissemore. After the deflection, Lissemore caught the ball in the end zone and was credited with a touchdown reception.

The play happened so fast, Griffin tried to catch the deflection, but Lissemore was the fortunate recipient of his first career interception.
