1. Peterson bulls his way in
This one might be on Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s lifetime achievement video when his brilliant career someday comes to an end. On fourth-and-inches on the Dallas Cowboys’ 11-yard line, Peterson bulled through the line to get the first and then, after being lifted into the air, Peterson maintained his balanced and scored in a way that only Peterson seemingly can do. Brilliant.
2. Tip, tip, tip, tip, catch
Count the tips. New Orleans Saints receiver Robert Meachem batted this pass from Drew Brees at least four times and nearly had it picked by two New York Jets defenders. But somehow amid the craziness, Meachem hauls in the pass — one of the wackiest you’ll see.
3. Graham's mastery
How does Jimmy Graham do it? Playing on one healthy foot and being the object of the New York Jets’ primary focus with Marques Colston inactive and Darren Sproles knocked out early, Graham hauled in this Brees pass and willed his way into the end zone. Just get out of Jimmy’s way — for your own safety.
4. Tuel's gift
The Kansas City Chiefs needed all the help they could get Sunday, with a sluggish offense and a determined Buffalo Bills team threatening to end the Chiefs’ unbeaten run. But Jeff Tuel’s bad pass was picked off by Chiefs corner Sean Smith and run back 100 yards for the game-changing play in a Kansas City victory.
5. The jump pass
There are two equally great parts to the Tampa Bay jump pass touchdown by running back Mike James. First, you don't see the running back jump up and dump off a pass into the end zone too often, although it's probably not a bad idea. That alone would make this play great. But then there's the catch. Tom Crabtree was on his behind in the end zone when James started to throw it. Crabtree somehow kept his focus, and sprung up to grab the pass.
