Yes, the answer is ‘D’: Scott Hartnell had his head sheared, taking off his famous locks. As he tweeted with this image:

“Sad day. New look. Looks like a poodle got a hair cut.”

This isn’t the first time Hartnell has decided to slice off his signature mane, as back in 2010 he took about 10 pounds off the top.

He’s been a supporter of Locks Of Love in the past, “a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in North America under the age of 21 who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.”

We’re not sure if this is a part of that movement. But here's the post-poodle look for Hartnell:
