PSV keeper knocked unconscious on free kick save

PSV goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton was put on a stretcher in a neck brace and taken off the pitch in an ambulance after getting knocked unconscious while making a save on a free kick. The scary moment happened late in Roda's 2-1 win over PSV. Tyton made a fine save, but collided with the post before having his head slap against the pitch.

His teammates rushed over to find him unresponsive and the medical staff then moved him to stabilize his neck and send him for a hospital examination, where initial reports are that he will be OK. Since PSV had already used all of their subs, midfielder Ola Toivonen put on the gloves and filled in as goalkeeper for the final minutes.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time Tyton has been knocked unconscious on the pitch. In 2011, a collision with Timothy Derijck knocked him out as well.
