Who returned it better: Budda Baker or Grant Weatherford?

One is among the nation's most electric prep football players, and the other is an unheralded junior from Middle America. Both just submitted spectacular returns.

Bellevue (Wash.) High senior running back Budda Baker -- Rivals.com's No. 51 senior recruit and a target of college football's who's who -- broke about a dozen tackles on his way to a 69-yard punt return in a 38-7 victory against Renton (Wash.) Liberty on Friday.

This is what Budda Baker does. His name is awesome, and his game is even better -- as evidenced by his whirling, tackle-breaking, direction-changing punt return above.

And then there's Arcadia (Ind.) Hamilton Heights High junior wide receiver/defensive back Grant Weatherford, owner of a few Division I offers -- and more to come soon.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder mishandled a backward pass and recovered the ball as a cadre of Lawrenceburg (Ind.) High defenders pushed him back 15 yards, but Weatherford emerged, evaded almost every defender on the field and returned it 65 yards.

Both returns are sublime, but I'm giving Weatherford the edge, especially since his return spurred a 55-7 first-round playoff victory (Baker's came in a regular-season contest).

On the season, Weatherford has 41 catches for 982 yards and 16 touchdowns as a wideout, 55 tackles defensively and a 21.4-yard kick return average (h/t MaxPreps).
